Basic Education graduate from dentistry
as part of the academic system of the University of Prishtina-Faculty of Medicine, at UDCCK is performed basic academic education of the dentistry branch , with a duration of 6 years of undergraduate studies.
The first generation of students began the academic year 1975/76, and since then until 2007 the branch of dentistry have graduated 975 students.

- The Dentistry Department, an academic branch the of Medical Faculty, consists of five cathedras, and 10 dentistry subjects, respectively:
- Cathedra of Dental Pathology with Endodontics and Anatomy of Human Teeth with Morphology,
- Cathedra of Prosthodontics,
- Cathedra of Periodontology and Oral Medicine,
- Cathedra of Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery,
- Cathedra of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, and Orthodontics.

As the only tertiary institution of public health dentistry in Kosovo, DCK offers postgraduate education specialist for 7 dental respective branches.
Postgraduate education specialist branches of dentistry is organized on the basis of AI 15/2006 on postgraduate specialist education of the Ministry of Health.
Specialist education is organized in its seven subsidiaries:
- Prosthetic Dentistry
- Endodoncia tooth disease,
- Kirurgjia Orale,
- Oral Health Parodontologie,
- Ortopedia e Nofullave,
- Pedodoncia dhe Stomatologjia Preventive
- Maxillofacial surgery
Since 1987, when the specialist education has begun in our Centre and so far over 296 Specialized specialist from different fields of dentistry.
